Jade Alejandra

Is a mexican singer, composer and flamenco dancer. Born in Morelos, Mexico Alejandra moved very soon, with her family, to Edinburgh, Scotland and grew up in a creative and independent environment.
When she was 8 years old she moved back to Mexico and was confronted by the traditions of her mother culture. During the next 8 years of her life marcial arts became Jade Alejandra's main education and music her passion. In pursue of a different music development, when she was 19 years old, she decided to travel to Vienna. In Vienna she has studied acting and accomplished her BA studies in Rhythmics/music and movement Education at the Vienna University for Music and Performing arts. Currantly she is a classically trained lyric soprano, a composer and is finishing her MA in New Audience Innovative Practice(NAIP) at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
The need to develop her own artistic research has brought her to merge her singing, flamenco and composition into a rhythmical expression. She participates in diverse independent projects and is producer and directer of her own works which allow her to express and venture on her individual and versatile path.
